Music Prodigy Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 October 2026
Music Prodigy ("the app") is made by Binary Helix ("we"). This policy explains what happens to information when you use the app on iOS or Android.
Summary
We don't collect, store or share any personal information. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
Information that stays on your device
- Players, progress and settings: player names and pictures, stars, lesson and Musical Journey progress, streaks and achievements, and app settings are saved only on your device. We don't receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.
- Microphone: if you choose to practise with the microphone, the app listens to work out which notes you play. The sound is analysed in real time on your device and is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere. You can turn the microphone off at any time in the app or in your device's settings.
- MIDI keyboards and Bluetooth: if you connect a MIDI keyboard, by cable, Bluetooth or your local network, the app only receives the notes it sends. On older Android versions, Bluetooth scanning required the location permission; the app doesn't use your location.
Purchases
Music Prodigy Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) handles the payment under their own privacy policies. We don't receive your payment details. The app only checks with the store whether Pro has been bought on your account.
Children
The app is suitable for children. It has no advertising, no analytics, no accounts, no chat and no way to share personal information. It doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Third parties
The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software, and we don't sell or share any information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
