Mawbreaker Privacy Policy

Effective 28 September 2026. Applies to the Mawbreaker app for Android (package dev.binaryhelix.mawbreaker) and the web version at binaryhelix.dev/mawbreaker.

Short version: Mawbreaker is an offline, single-player game. It does not collect, send or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your progress is saved only on your own device.

Who we are

Mawbreaker is made by Binary Helix ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the game does with information about you, which is almost nothing.

What the game stores, and where

To remember your progress, the game saves a small amount of game data on your device, in the app's private storage (web storage inside the app, also called localStorage). This includes:

This data never leaves your device through the game. We cannot see it, and it contains no name, email address, contact list, location, photos or device identifiers.

What we do not collect

The Android app does not request the Internet permission and makes no network connections. All of the game's art, music and sound is included in the app itself.

The web version

If you play in a web browser at binaryhelix.dev/mawbreaker, your browser downloads the game's files from our web server, and the game then stores its save data in your browser's local storage and keeps an offline copy of its own files in your browser's cache. Like almost every web server, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, requested file, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use these logs to identify or track players, we do not combine them with other data, and we do not sell or share them. The web version sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts.

Google Play and Android backups

Google Play handles the purchase and download of the app under Google's own privacy policy. We receive only the standard, aggregated sales and app-quality statistics that Google provides to all developers; these do not identify you to us.

If you have turned on Android's device backup, Android may include the game's save data in your personal backup, stored in your own Google account. We have no access to those backups.

Children

Mawbreaker is not directed at children under 13. Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Deleting your data

All game data lives on your device. To delete it, uninstall the app, or clear the app's storage in Android Settings (Apps, Mawbreaker, Storage, Clear storage). On the web, clear the site data for binaryhelix.dev in your browser. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the game changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the date above before that version is released, and we will update the app's Google Play data safety information to match.
